Should I pay to remove the old floor and level the subfloor?
Removing and disposing of an old floor typically adds about $15–$35 per m² for carpet or floating laminate (more for glued vinyl or tiles), and levelling an uneven subfloor with a self-levelling compound adds roughly $25–$45 per m². Which flooring is cheapest to install?
